VISPUL HALF
SELF-CENTERING TOOTHED PULLEYS
VISPUL HALF are self-centering toothed pulleys designed to improve the performance of TV10, T10, AT10, H, TV20 DOLPHINE timing belts.
They are also used for TPU timing belts with steel or Kevlar strands as well as rubber belts with aramid or polyester fabric, even for L, T20, AT20 pitches.
At the center of the toothing there is a hemispherical channel inside of which a round seal (O-ring) is housed. This seal is intended to closely match the hemispherical channel below the DOLPHINE timing belt.
Currently, the known techniques involve the use of lateral flanges: they are industrially applied by means of interlocking chipping. This procedure presents the risk of detachment of the timing belt and its consequent derailment. The other common procedure involves the use of toothed pulleys with handcrafted flanges, which are assembled using screws. These have the disadvantage of being expensive and time-consuming to manufacture.
The revolutionary innovation of VISPUL HALF is given by the ease of production and the extreme simplicity of assembly of the elastic ring in the central channel. All of this leads to a significant reduction in the cost of the final product.

ADVANTAGES
- Elimination of side flanges and therefore of the risk of breaking both closed and openable joints
- Elimination of side edge laceration risk, thanks to the absence of side flanges
- Elimination of belt side wear due to side flanges
- Reduced loads on pulley axles and tensioners
- Energy saving
- Compatible with all tooth pitches
- Suitable for both polyurethane and neoprene timing belts
- Suitable for power transmissions and Omega rollers
- Elimination of the guide channel on the sliding plane
